At first I was disappointed when I saw that it was not very thick, but after I used it I was very satisfied. It makes my hair so soft, healthy and manageable. I can totally tell the difference in my hair. I love the texture and moisturization. Usually you don't get these results with such a light textured conditioner. I am hooked. It won't weigh your hair down or make it prone to greasiness.<br /><br />I definitely recommend this product, however I do not recommend that you buy it from anywhere other than a salon. Redken is insistant that they do not supply their products to anyone other than salons. They insist that their products, including Matrix, Kerastase, L'Oreal Professional, as well as a slew of others are to be considered fakes/counterfeit, watered down, or otherwise not genuine when sold in mass merchant stores or any place other than a salon. They call them "Diverted" products and you can read about it at the Redken website for verification. At the bottom of their homepage is a link called "Anti-Diversion Policy" and from there you can read all about it. They have extensive info about it as well as a blog and phone numbers and email addresses to use in order to report unauthorized sellers, such as Amazon, Kmart, Target, your local grocery store, or wherever you see Redken products and their sister products sold, other than in a salon. All of these professional products are being sold in all of the major mass merchants and grocery stores. They are considered pirated products. Redken does not supply these merchants with these products.<br /><br />And no, I am not connected to Redken or L'Oreal Professional (they make Redken) in anyway, nor am I a salon professional. After repeatedly (months) using a very hot flat iron, along with multiple colorings --I have a tendancy to go to a full service salon for color and cuts, get bored with the color in a couple/few weeks, color it myself, only to go BACK to the salon yet a few weeks later for more color)-- this product really helps correct dryness and brittleness, just as it says. It helps to wash and then condition first, letting this conditioner stay in for 10 to 15 minutes while you go through the rest of your beauty/cleansing routine. The results are really, really good! I have thick, somewhat coarse hair (actually, my hair texture is a real mix: naturally curly but more of a wave to it than curl and a good portion of it IS controllable when healthy but I'd say 25% of it naturally -- not even considering how it is when it's damaged -- is not easily managed at all). </p> <p> <span class="reviewtitle">Great for daughter's long fine hair<img name="pngImage" class="custReviewStars" src="http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/associates/network/star50_tpng.png" alt="5" width="56" height="11" /></span><br />We used this at a salon for the first time today on my daughter's waist length fine blonde hair and it did a great job.
